Kettering, OH – The season of giving is upon us, and Day Air Credit Union is proud to make a meaningful impact in the community once again. Through partnerships with key organizations and contributions of time, resources, and education, Day Air continues to brighten lives throughout the Miami Valley.
This year, Day Air partnered with the Dayton Dragons Foundation to sponsor a 50/50 raffle that raised $10,500. Proceeds from the raffle went to The Dayton Dragons Foundation which is central to the organization’s effort to be involved in the community. The Foundation provides necessary funding and resources to enable the countless donations, charitable giving requests, in-kind contributions, unique game experiences, and community-wide programs that the Dragons support year-round.
Day Air’s Wilmington Pike Financial Center and Contact Center joined forces with the City of Kettering for the Kettering Giving Tree program, ensuring every child in the Kettering School District receives a gift this holiday season, regardless of financial circumstances.
Meanwhile, the Centerville Financial Center collaborated with Centerville High School for the Backpack Project, assembling winter-ready backpacks filled with essentials to help individuals in need stay warm and comfortable during the colder months.
The Beavercreek Financial Center extended its support to the Xenia FISH Food Pantry, a vital community resource providing food assistance to families facing food insecurity in Xenia, OH.
The North Dixie Financial Center supported the Shop with a Cop program, pairing families with Butler Township Police Officers for a special shopping trip. Together, they purchased essentials like clothing, boots, and coats, along with toys and gifts to bring extra joy to the holiday season.
Finally, the VA Financial Center made spirits bright by delivering holiday gift bags to veterans in the memory care unit at Kennedy Way in the VA Medical Center. The gift bags, filled with crafts, treats, and ornaments, brought smiles and holiday cheer to those who served our country.
