Day Air Credit Union, the largest financial institution headquartered in Montgomery County, is pleased to announce that Ethan Schultz, Lauren Doorley, and La’Tia Cleveland are the recipients of Day Air’s 2021 Academic Scholarships.
Day Air’s scholarship is for $1,000 towards continuing education expenses and is based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, community service involvement and an essay.
Ethan Schultz, a 2021 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School, achieved academic honors throughout his high school career. He also participated in band, student council, numerous clubs and Boy Scouts. Ethan will be attending Sinclair in the fall where he will be studying Visual Communication Design.
Lauren Doorley, a 2021 graduate of Alter High School, achieved honors with distinction throughout her high school career. In addition, she was active in Cross Country and Track and Field and many community service projects. Lauren will be attending the University of Dayton in the fall studying Chemical Engineering.
La’Tia Cleveland, currently attending Clark State Community College, is studying Licensed Practical Nursing. She has achieved academic honors awards, has made it on the Dean’s List, and has served in the Student Mentorship Program serving as a tutor for other students.
