Peer-to-peer payments also known as P2P payments have been around for nearly 20 years and almost everyone knows about PayPal, one of the first and largest P2P companies. Although P2P payment systems have been around for quite awhile they have been increasing in popularity as of late with several new companies hitting the market such as Venmo and Zelle. Even large tech companies such as Apple, Google, and Facebook now offer some sort of P2P system for their users to send money to one another with.
However, with any technology the biggest concern is always security, especially when it involves access to your hard-earned money. This is exactly why more and more financial institutions have started to offer their own P2P system within their mobile app or websites. Day Air Credit Union of course offer the ability to do P2P transactions straight from our mobile app.
In fact, we have recently made it even easier to do this by adding the “Pay Anyone” option under the Move Money button on the bottom of our mobile app. This new button when tailored with MACO or multiple authentication convenience options, makes it even faster and easier to send anyone with an email address or mobile phone number money. Not only is it fast and easy, but it is also secure as Day Air requires that you set a security question for the receiving individual to answer to receive their money.
Pay Anyone and MACO are just a few of the ways Day Air is working to make banking convenient and secure for our members.
