Day Air Credit Union is proud to announce that Holli Davis, their Director of Business Banking, has been named a 2023 Dayton Business Journal Forty Under 40 Award honoree. This esteemed award recognizes the extraordinary accomplishments and bright futures of forty outstanding business leaders throughout Montgomery County. This achievement further cements Ms. Davis’ role at the helm of one of our region’s largest financial institutions.
“Holli’s drive to support local businesses and serve the community is inspiring,” said Bill Burke, Day Air Credit Union President and Chief Executive Officer. “She demonstrates remarkable leadership within our organization and truly goes above and beyond for our members and the communities we serve.”
Holli was chosen as Day Air’s first dual Branch Manager, and in 2020 she was selected to lead a newly created department as the Director of Business Banking. What began as a 1-person department has grown to four in only two years, with achievements including 100% forgiveness on 348 PPP loans, over 20% increase in lending volume, and the administration of a $95 million+ lending portfolio.
In addition to her impact at Day Air, Holli is heavily involved in the community. She has developed and presented financial education seminars to veterans transitioning from homelessness to HUDVASH program and first-generation college students through the University of Dayton’s Camp Blue. She served on the Miami Valley Military History Museum and Rebuilding Together Dayton boards, and has volunteered with the Dayton VA Medical Center, SICSA Pet Adoption Center, and Ladies Auxillary Amvets Post 99.
