Our Password Requirements are Changing
Our It’s Me 247 Online Banking is undergoing an upgrade! This upgrade will expand the limit on the length for your online banking password from 10 to 256 characters on March 11, 2018, which is great news for our online banking security.
However, this upgrade may require you to make some updates to your password, please choose the option below that matches your current password length for details.
It’s recommended that you change your password every 30 days to protect the security and privacy of your online accounts. If you need assistance changing your password or have any questions, contact us at 937-643-2160 or by email at email@example.com
You will notice some changes when logging in to It’s Me 247 Online Banking.
Beginning Wednesday January 24, 2018 if you are keying in more than 10 characters for your password, you will receive a WARNING MESSAGE – letting you know that your password is over the 10-character limit and you will need to key in ONLY the FIRST 10 characters of your password.
To help better explain this change, here’s an example.
Jane Member believes her password is 123ilovemydog. When Jane enters her password now, the system recognizes only the first 10 characters, 123ilovemy, then uses that as the password, and ignores the rest. After March 11, when Jane enters her password like she usually does (123ilovemydog), the system will now see the remaining characters of her password, compare it to the 10 characters it expected, and will consider that a password mismatch.
It’s recommended that you change your password every 30 days to protect the security and privacy of your online accounts. Now would be a good time to change your password to be exactly 8, 9, or 10 characters, then on March 11th you can choose to expand your password length beyond 10 characters.
