We Care Arts – Cookie Walk 2016

  Saturday, December 3, 2016 from 10 am – 2 pm

Day Air Credit Union has partnered to help our friends at We Care Arts with their Cookie Walk event for 6 years. We invite you to join us in donating and/or buying cookies this year.

On December 3, We Care Arts will host its 5th annual Cookie Walk to benefit programming that enables persons with physical, intellectual, neurological, and behavioral health challenges realize their goals. That day, cookie lovers will choose from dozens and dozens of family favorites for just $7.00 per pound. They’ll also get to browse our gift shop, filled with handcrafted holiday items; there’s something for everyone on your list!

Here’s how you can help:

Bake and donate COOKIES!!! This year, we invite you to “think outside the chip.” We all love a good chocolate chip cookie, but during the holidays, it’s sharing those “special” cookies that we remember from our child-hoods that make this kind of event so much fun. We’re looking for the cookies, bars, and candies that you remember making with your mom and grandma; nut horns, snowballs, shortbreads, bourbon balls, pizzelles, luscious fudge; beautiful and unique cookies are big sellers!

Buy cookies! You’ll leave with all kinds different cookies for your family to enjoy. Tell your friends to come too!

Volunteer! We’ll need folks to help us to plate cookies on Friday, and will need cashiers and “cookie runners” throughout the day on Saturday.

Please include a 3×5 index card with your cookies that gives the name of the cookies, the ingredients and any oth-er dietary information (gluten free, sugar free, etc.) Please PRINT as this card will be displayed with your do-nation.

Suggested number of cookies: 3 dozen (but we won’t say no to more!)

Deliver cookies to We Care Arts on Friday, December 2 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Contact Pat Maple at pmaple@wecarearts.org or 937.252.3937 to confirm your donation or to volunteer.
